
Finnmarksløpet – an amazing event
This page is made for participants, support-team and volunteers in Finnmarksløpet, here you wil find information necessary to complete the race.
Finnmarksløpet needs 300 volunteers, 8 wilderness cabins, 500 hotelrooms, 27 cars and 35 snowmobiles. The 150 participants use 1300 dogs and need more than 450 people to support their effort. Finnmarksløpet is truly an amazing event.

The biggest prizes
To finish Finnmarksløpet is an achievement on it’s own. In addition to honor and fame the best mushers can win great prizes. For the top mushers we offer cash prizes. In addition, our partners, offer prizes for winners and other achievements.
We will especially mention “Saltdalshytta” that offer a cabin worth NOK 600.000.- for the best combined result of 2018 and 2019.
Polaris offer a Polaris Sportman ATV for the winner of both FL1200 and FL500 in 2018.
