Information for FL-1000 mushers

Due to the ice conditions on the Tana River, the track from Sirma til Levajok 2 will have som changes.
This makes the distance 10 kilometres longer, and there will be a climbing of approx 500 metres along the first 20 kilometres from checkpoing Sirma.
The electronical GPS maps will be available for downloading in February.

FINNMARKSLØPET 2011

The veterans took the best places at the top of the podium in Finnmarksløpet. Elisabeth Edland won FL-500 and is the Norwegian Champion in long distance sled dog racing for 8-dog teams, while Roger Dahl won FL-1000 and is Norwegian Champion in long distace sled dog racing, open class.
