Worse weather conditions for the 500 km

The Met office in Tromsø has reported worse weather for the 500 km race, while the competitors in the 1000 km will experience a nice and quiet day.

For the mushers in the 1000 km race, today will be nice and quiet weatherwise. Clouds and calm weather and a little snow. Towards night the wind will turn north-west and therefore we might have slight winds in the mountains, as well as light winds and snow in the valleys.

The mushers in the 500 km will meet worse weather than the one's in the 1000 km. The south-west winds that the teams experenced earlier today will turn to north-west during the night. The winds will be a little stronger tomorrow and the temperature will sink.
