Ole Wingren passed Øvre Mollisjok at 11.00, at the same time as Ole Sigleif Johansen and Leif Wilhelmsen could be spotted approximately five minutes behind him down on the river. The situation has not changed from before as Katy Meier is about to finish crossing the lake Iesjavre. Ole Wingren wondered how far ahead Katy Meier was, and when he found out answered like a true Finnish, saying:”Oh well, okay, okay.”

Ole Sigleif Johansen and Leif Wilhelmsen made a short stop down on the river to give the dogs some quick snacks, and make some tactical changes in the dog team. To answer our question of who would be the Norwegian champion, Leif answered: “We might have to share the title.” To whether this can end in a neck-and-neck sprint to the finish Ole Sigleif just said: “We’ll see, we’ll see”, before he took off over the ridge following Leif Wilhelmsen closely.
