The team of veterinarians is put together by skilled vets who have experience from Iditarod, Yukon Quest, Pirena and Finnmarksløpet, to name a few. - Many of them use vacationdays and choose Finnmarksløpet before other long sled-dog races around the world, says Charlotte Leschbrandt. The reason they want to come to Finnmark, Charlotte says, is the combination of the level of work, friendly and competitive mushers, a well-arranged event and great atmosphere on the tracks. - It is also special to come this far north to the beautiful nature and its unique local people, Charlotte continues.
